Description
This threaded connector can help you connect your equipment or transition from any other traditional materials. Opposite of our Threaded Connector with a female fitting, this threaded connector contains a male fitting. This threaded connector can be purchased in a large selection of sizes between 1/2″ (20mm) to 3″ (80mm).
PF Series Fittings 3/4″ – 2″
The smaller fittings are part of the PF series and use push fit technology. These PF series fittings have a NBR 70 Sh A seal fitting and use PTFE coating on the pipe seal. Materials for these smaller fittings include:
- Engineered polymer PA6 – GF30 fiberglass reinforcement
- Aluminum high pressure die casting EN AC-46100, similar to A03830 (ASTM B85 / EN1706)
- Wrought aluminum alloy 6082 (ASTM B221)
Larger Fittings 2 1/2″ – 3″
The larger fittings also use NBR 70 Sh A seal fittings, but instead use torque to grip technology. Materials used in these larger fittings include:
- Aluminum high pressure die casting EN AC-46100, similar to A03830 (ASTM B85 / EN 1706)
- Aluminum permanent mold casting EN AC-43100, similar to A13600 (ASTM B85 / EN 1706)
- Wrought aluminum alloy 6082 (ASTM B221)
